Community Garden
The Community Garden is located just past the tennis courts and children’s playground. Reserve your personal raised garden bed so you can grow your own vegetables. A nominal fee applies. Reservations are accepted through the Community Garden Committee.
Children’s Playground
Just beyond the East Building is a children’s playground for use by our residents and their young guests. Situated next to the tennis courts, surrounded by trees and the Indian Creek, it is ideal for children. The playground is equipped with swings, slides, a jungle gym and monkey bars. The slides are made of brightly colored plastic.
Card Room
Located near the East Building Main Entrance is a card room for the use of our residents. This room with tables and chairs, is perfect for the many weekly card games as well as occasional small gatherings. The room also hosts small meetings. There are also card tables located in the lower level public area of the West Building.
Green Hill Room
Situated off the main lobby of the East Building, the Green Hill Room, also known as the TV Room, is a medium sized (65 person capacity) multipurpose venue serving the needs of the entire community. There are comfortable chairs, tables, WiFi, a quality sound system and a large, flat-screen television. The TV room is available to committees and residents

- meetings
- sports viewing parties
- bingo and game nights
- speakers and special presentations
It also serves as the voting location for local, state, and national elections for residents and some of the surrounding neighborhoods. For a fee, residents can rent the room for private functions such as dinners and family celebrations.
Event Rooms
The Indian Creek Room is an event space on the lower level of the East Building. It has room for up to 200 guests. The nominal fee includes use of kitchen facilities, tables, chairs and coat room. There is WiFi, a sound system, and a screen for a projector that can display TV, movies, or computer images.
Other smaller event spaces are available.
Library
The library is open 24/7 to residents. It includes fiction and non-fiction sections. There is also a children’s section. Residents can check out books or sit in the comfortable chairs and read. A computer is available, as well as Internet access. New books being added all the time, so stop by and see for yourself. The library is located in the East Building, just off the lobby.
Outdoor Pool
Our outdoor pool, for those hot summer days, is spacious with both plenty of “paddling around area” and dedicated lap lanes. A large pool deck area has tables, chairs and lounges for entertaining or relaxing. A kiddie pool, barbecue grills and shuffleboard lanes are all part of this facility. There is an additional fee for outdoor pool membership and cabanas are available to rent for the season, based on availability.
Tennis Courts
There are two adjoining tennis courts. They are on the tree-lined area behind the East Building parking lot, next to the children’s playground. They are surrounded by high chain link fences to trap errant tennis balls. It is a casual environment. Reservations are not needed and players are not required to wear “tennis whites.” Players need to provide their own tennis balls and rackets.
Laundry Room
In addition to washer/dryers in each unit, the West Building and the East Building both have laundry rooms with large capacity washers and dryers. They can be used for large or heavy loads. The Laundry Room in the West Building is located on the Lower Level, next to the storage lockers. The Laundry Room in the East Building is located on the Lower Level next to the Maintenance Department offices, in the C tower. They are all coin operated. The rooms have chairs, sinks and tables for folding laundry.
Security
Green Hill is a secure, gated community boasting an excellent 24 hour security staff, including an entrance gate house and doormen stationed at both the East and West Building main entrances. The goal is to keep our residents and their guests as safe and secure as possible. Security personnel patrol the buildings and grounds at all hours. Strategically placed cameras show our doormen various areas of the complex in real-time, and provide a record for possible review as necessary.
The Main Entrance to the complex, located on City Ave. and Green Hill Apartment Dr. (66th St. on the Philadelphia side) is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Gate security must be notified when visitors are expected in order for them to be admitted.
